After a time of exploring the new cavern, I was informed that ‘twas a new tool available to construct. Of course, this usually means I can go above and beyond what I’m gathering at the moment, so I quickly set about to see what it was.

Turns out, the new tool was the Islekeep’s Steel Hammer. Steel! Finally. Working with somewhat real tools!

Not only that, but having been consistent about my gathering efforts over time, I already had the materials needed to craft the tool. Needless to say, I did.

More importantly, I was informed that both the Cozy Cabin and my Graniaries also had upgrade opportunities. Looking into this, I saw right away that I would need material I’d had yet to find for these upgrades. No doubt, with the steel hammer I just forged.

I also had a hunch I’d find some of it in the Mountain Hollow – so ‘twas where I went first.

Sure enough, the stalagmites in the cavern did provide a new material. The other materials I discovered were on older stones, however – including the smooth ones along the river and the blue-ish ones that also contain copper.

With this in hand, I was ready to get the upgrades going. The Graneries required time to build up, as always. The cabin, however, was completed much more quickly!

Oh my! Looks as if ‘tis quite a bit to explore! I shall save that for next time!
