I was most pleased to see that as the Mammets put the finishing touches on the workshop upgrades, it also now sported a much more elegant, clockwork design! This felt a bit more industrial than the granary did, however.
Instead of the tall metal pillars of an open layout and glass skylights, the workshops were built solidly of strong red brick. Even more gears adorned the structure (as it should be), with bronze pistons at work on top.
There were still cultural flourishes, however, in arcs and more delicate glass windows.
The workshops have certainly come a long way since the early days!
