So Koh has finally hit level 60 Arcanist in game, and I’m starting to consider writing about her learning the art of Summoning. Up until now, I made her a minor healer (because the FC didn’t have one at first) and somewhat “Scholar” because she is technically an Allagan scholar… but more in the research way and less the Fairy way.
Now days, the FC has lots of skilled healers, so I feel she’s somewhat redundant in that role. Considering she has the guidance of an Allagan mind within her (Noah), it makes sense that she could learn Summoning if she set herself to do so.
She’s just not fully sold on the hat.

Not really an AU, but more of a what-if. What if Amon wasn’t raised in the Allagan City near Syrcus Tower, but instead, remained with his people, a simple Forest Elezen?
I always imagined he’d have taken on his mother’s name and legacy as an Everschade Singer, one whose song and music was able to communicate with the forest Elementals.
So instead of becoming a messed-up over-dramatic opera-singing mad scientist, you’d have an eccentric tree-hugging opera-singing Elf bard. He sure does look happy in these pictures, though.

FFXIV is hosting a screenshot contest based on locations in game. Here was my submission for Amon.
I would have done Syrcus Tower, but I felt folks would be choosing that in the First quite a bit, so I wanted to pick something visited less often. It still is a cool zone and I wish there was more to take us back out there.

Don’t let the pictures fool you. In reality, all Amon knows how to do is blow himself up, breathe bad breath on people and regurgitate fish. The BLU life!
I’m late to the party, but I finally just finished leveling Amon’s BLU to 60. I’m not sure why I put it off for so long because it wasn’t really that time-consuming to do. Now he just needs some cool skills. 😦
It’s Tad’s Nameday!

Which means, a year ago today, I created Tad as a character in game. I’d already been exploring him as part of Amon’s background for months prior, but he wasn’t actually in game until this day.
Even back then I didn’t know how I could piece him into Amon’s current story, nor did I imagine making him the Warrior of Light from the 4th Age. But now I have some ideas and plans, so hopefully year two will be full of stories for him!
