They finally let Amon pilot tonight in Cosmic Exploration. No luck in getting good roulette rolls, but it was still fun to ride the mech for a little bit!
Eurekan Petrel!

I’ve had to have opened hundreds of grand company materiel containers over the years, with very few mounts as the result. Today, I bought a one-off container on Amon because he was dumping gear on the grand company and was full up on seals.
Much to my surprise, when I opened the container, he pulled the Eurekan Petrel - a mount I didn’t have on any character on my account.
I went back and forth on who should claim the mount - Amon or Tad. But given Tad is my main, and my main mount collector, Amon begrudgingly gave it up to his cousin.
I’ll make it up to Amon somehow.
A Peace Offering

Tad: Hey Amon, guess what I got?
Tad: An extra Vacuum Suit Key! Do you want it… you know… to make up for the whole Eurekan Petrel thing?
Amon: Well, ‘tisn’t quite as rare, but I suppose 'tis a sufficient enough peace offering given the situation. I accept.
-When Tad isn’t looking, however…-
Amon: Awwwww yeaaaaah!

How to explain this…
Scylla-mun and I have been playing co-op PowerWash Simulator lately. This past weekend, we finished washing the Shoe House, which is a take on the nursery rhyme about Old Mother Hubbard who lived in a shoe with a bunch of kids.
Anyhow. As you clean the objective, you normally get periodic text messages from the client.
In this case, one of the kids got a hold of Ms. Hubbard’s phone, so you started getting texts that looked like this:
Scylla-mun and I started joking about kids after that, specifically about Amon being a kid texting poop announcements to strangers.
Suddenly the line “Jonny bit me” turned into “Tad bit me!”
Because Tad was probably a little goblin of a WoL spawn as a kid, and I don’t doubt this really happened. Quick digital sketch just for the fun of it.
