Greetings friends! I’m excited to announce that due to a glorious opportunity** I now have in my possession brand new real estate to which my Tea and Tomes shop is currently moving!

ETA is unknown, but once I’ve opened again, your Tome appraisals (and tea) will be better than ever!

((**This isn’t a new house get - my Main has had this small house for years. However, now that Amon’s my Main, I can repurpose it to be the new Tea and Tomes, which is something I’ve always wanted, and I’m quite excited!))

Switching and maxxing out the Grand Company was nowhere near as difficult or time consuming as I feared it would be. It helped that I already had a fully leveled Squad, and all that transferred over.

So aside from farming some seals, doing required hunts, and burning a few solo dungeons, it was just sending them on the flagged missions needed for promotion again!

Cadu Returns Home!! 🐍

It took 26 runs for Cadu to drop this time - previously, it took 25 runs, so still about the same despite the supposed drop rate increase! Anyhow, I was actually somewhat shocked when it happened, but so very happy that Cadu is home again!

All is right with the world now.

Amon: Please, Hermes! I need Cadu!

Hermes: <: O *hugs Cadu and runs away*

Amon: Wait!! Just meet me at the start of the dungeon, hand me Cadu, and you can keep Meteion! Deal?

Hermes: Cadu!  Let’s hide from Amon!

Cadu: ?

Hermes: *hides under the bed with Cadu from Amon*

𓆚…The Next Day, After Much Snek Farming… 𓆚

Amon: *complains to Scylla* Hermes is being mean!

Hermes: *still hiding under the bed*

Scylla: You don’t give your pet away easily either, Amon.

Amon: But I’m not taking Cadu away! Cadu is always here!

Cadu: *sad looks at Hermes* : <

Hermes: <: O  You’re a random drop, Cadu.

Cadu: ?

Hermes: *points to all the treasure boxes*  You are only hiding in one.

Cadu: *spins and spins and spins*

𓆚…The Next Day… 𓆚

Hermes: Is it safe to come out yet, Cadu?

Cadu: *spins*

Amon: There you are! *grabs for Hermes*

Hermes: Ahhhh! *runs around Syrcus Tower, going in the opposite direction of the incoming 24-man raid*

Amon: *chases after him*

𓆚…The Next Day, Amon Gets the Wrong Drop… 𓆚

Hermes: <: *gives Amon a Hyperboreia bench* Treebench!

Amon: ……..

Hermes: <: O

Amon: *sighs* Thank you. ><
((Then Amon promptly sells it on the marketboard.))

Amon: HERMES! IT’S CADU! *hugs Hermes* THANK YOU!

Hermes: *has band aids on his face from getting beat up*  Yeaaaah.

Six years ago today, I rolled Tad in game to be Amon's younger cousin. At the time, I didn't know Tad would also become my Azem (and Tad was fine with me not knowing). I very much enjoy the dynamics between my two weird Allagans - even as different as they are in personality, they still love each other dearly!
